AS SIMPLE AS "I LOVE YOU"
As we move into April and spring time flourishes the city, one of my favorite winter memories was last year just after a snow storm. One winter night on the subway heading home from playing in the snow, there was a beautiful young lady looking in the window, which appeared like a mirror when the subway train was moving. She was singing a couple verses, then stopped singing, and then she talked to herself in the mirror...then after a while of this awkward scene, to the window she said, "I love you" as like motivation or something. Seeing on the Today Show a couple days ago that we don't say "I love you" enough, it hit me...Sensing she wasn't "koo koo," the train came to a halt just then, so I said, "I love you too" right as she got off the train. She turned around and had the warmest glow on her face. That moment, the look was priceless, I almost teared up...When did you notice someone was hurting and what did you do about it?
